​​Biography
Jason graduated with a degree in Psychology from Swansea University in 2008, after which he spent time as an Assistant Clinical Psychologist. In 2009 he undertook a Masters at the University of Birmingham and then a PhD in 2010 under the supervision of Professor Suzanne Higgs and Dr Colin Dourish. His PhD experimental work was undertaken both at University of Birmingham and University of Oxford in collaboration with his industrial sponsor P1vital. Between 2013-2016 Jason worked on a social norms approach to healthy eating as an ESRC Research Fellow at University of Birmingham. He is presently a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at Aston University.

Research interests
Jason is interested in the biopsychological aspects of human eating behaviour, and interventions aimed at altering food intake and food selection to improve health. He is particularly interested in psychopharmacological, cognitive, and social influences on human eating behaviour. His work has been funded by Aston University, University of Birmingham, BPS, P1vital, BBSRC and ESRC.
